We originally joined for the social activities. Since becoming president, I have wanted to increase membership, stay financially sound, and increase our activities based on what the membership wants to do. |
 | Michael McHannVice-President, Section Membership | I became a member of MBCA 25 years ago for technical info and support after purchasing my first 300E. I've since owned 9 Mercedes and am particularly fond of the "E" series cars. As a car collector my entire adult life, I've enjoyed membership in several car clubs but have found the MBCA to be the most active, supportive and inclusive of the clubs, and I would recommend MBCA for those who want to learn more about their cars and enjoy fellowship with others who have the same passion for this grand marquee. |

I bought my 1960 190b sedan, generally called a “Ponton”, while living in Beirut, Lebanon in 1974 where it had been imported from Switzerland for sale as a taxi. The car’s been to Aqaba and Petra, Damascus and Aleppo, and from Greece to Holland while my wife and I have owned it. The great diversity of M-B products and engineering quality has long been an attraction. |
